ULTRALIGHT WEIGHT FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

Premium ultralight weight lamination. Tuned to perfection. A full underside laminate in T700 unidirectional flat-woven carbon ensures maximum stiffness, while the deck is T700 full biax carbon aligned around 30 degrees for racing and 45 degrees for wave/freestyle boards. Optimum combination of responsiveness, stiffness and vibration damping for each type of board.

Optimized Flex

Reflex Carbon boards feature a full T700 unidirectional flat-woven carbon underside for maximum stiffness, while the decks are T700 biax carbon, oriented at angles to optimise the ideal flex and response required from individual board models/sizes and intended usage.

Sandwich Core

The composite sandwich layers include the use of quality 3mm PVC H100 and H80 ultra-high density foams in the high stress areas for precise flex and control.

As our flagship construction, each Carbon Reflex board is constructed from carefully specified high-end materials, laminated to tightly controlled layup specifications using premium high strength Sicomin epoxy resins with enhanced UV resistance.

Fused EPS Core – 15.5 kg/m³ Density

Shear resistant, fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard mould to minimize waste. Better for you. Better for the environment.
