The 2022 PWA Slalom Vice World Champion Matteo Iachino just released a new video from his ocean crossing project.

“Un solo mare per tutti means “There is only one ocean for all of us” and the challenge of the project has been a dream come true: crossing the Ligurian sea on a windfoil. Nobody ever did it on windsurfing gear and it is something the local windsurfing community talked about doing for many years. I had a great team and I made it thanks to that. The project wants to show to the next generations of Liguria (the region that I come from), how beautiful windsurfing is and how important it is to keep it clean and preserve all the maritime environment from pollution and plastic. Because only like that we will be able to enjoy our ocean in the future. We had two great days with more than 200 local kids and I shared my passion for the sport and the ocean. It has been great!
