18-years old Jahdan Tyger from Brazil is one of the latest additions to the Starboard Dream Team and is excited to represent the brand in the wave discipline. The local from Jericoacoara started windsurfing in 2014. In 2017 he could already score the Youth World Champion title in the U13s division. In 2021 he locked in his latest success, when he became the Brazilian Vice Champion. For 2023 he aims to participate in as many PWA / IWT events as possible. What is your favorite spot and why?
My homespot Jericoacoara, Moulay in Morocco and Hookipa in Maui.
Can you explain us the conditions at your homespot?
Jericoacoara is a starboard tack jumping spot and when the swell hits, you can surf down the line on port.
What does it mean to you to join the Starboard Dream Team?
It’s a big dream coming true! Since I was very young, I’m a big Starboard fan!
Which Starboard boards will you be riding?
The Ultra 72 for jumping, the Ultra 78 for jumping and riding and the Hyper 83 for surfing down the line!
