Our Starboard Dream Team is on fire! We have launched the 6th episode of our Starboard Dream Team Series. In this episode, we feature our Starboard superstar Blanca Alabau. She made history in the recent PWA World Cup in Pozo. After almost 15 years, Slalom returned to Pozo and the Women’s fleet was ready for action and competition in the challenging conditions. Blanca was unstoppable on the foil and won the event on her Starboard X-15 rocket. Check out the whole video!
Who is Blanca Alabau?
Blanca Alabau is part of the Starboard Dream Team and competes in the Slalom discipline. She competes on both fin and foil. Blanca recently competed in the PWA World Cup in Pozo, taking over the podium with an incredible performance full of action. She delivered very consistent racing throughout the whole event. One-to-one racing, tight battles, and rail-to-rail finishes are her specialties. Check out what her winter training looked like and what her thoughts are after the event. Blanca’s daily routines
Blanca was preparing for the moment to step on the highest place on the PWA podium the whole winter. Hard training and many hours on the water paid off. She spent a lot of time in Tenerife training on the fin and the foil. Her big advantage was the smooth handling of the foil in high winds and choppy conditions. She will tell us more about what her winter looked like in the video.
