Roberto Hofmann is German/ Italian and grew up on Lake Maggiore. At the beginning of the 90s, he worked for many years on Lake Garda as a surfing instructor (Hotel Pier) and can look back on a very successful regatta career with 2 IFCA Slalom World Championships (GM), 1 Speed EM title, and many Italian ones. He is one of the few who broke the magic 50 knot limit in the Luderitz Canal. Since the early 2000s, the 4-language surf addict has had his own surf academy with trips to Hawaii, South Africa, Vietnam, the Canary Islands and many more. with which he has promoted adventure learning events in Italy and abroad.
