The Men’s Fleet
In the men’s fleet, our Starboard rider Matteo Iachino delivered an impressive performance, finishing 3rd in the event and earning 4th place overall for the 2024 season. After facing some challenges in Sylt, Germany, Matteo regained his form and showed determination as he fought for top positions. On the first day of competition in Japan, he started strong, leading the event with two 2nd-place finishes in the eliminations. By the end of the event, Matteo secured a well-deserved spot on the podium in 3rd place. This fantastic result contributed to his 4th-place ranking in the 2024 overall Foil Slalom standings.
The Women’s Fleet
In the women’s fleet, Blanca Alabau wrapped up her season with an impressive 3rd place overall ranking, consistently showing her ability to compete at the highest level throughout the year. Our youngest rider Bobbi-Lynn de Jong finished 4th in the overall rankings. What a performance!
