WOULD YOU DARE?
Would you try being towed behind a car on your windsurf gear in 70 km/h and go full speed off a wooden ramp in 30 cm deep water? At the same time do a double rotation?
Sure most people would not dare, but the Greek/German young talent and Starboard Dream team rider Lennart Neubauer did it!
He tells us you need to really go for it and be committed. If not you will hurt yourself! Watch the clip below where he explains what went through his mind right before hitting the ramp:

Lennart lives on Naxos, which is a windy Greek island. He has summer holidays from school now, and due to Corona, he can spend more time at home. Lennart competes in the world cup in freestyle and waves. He is Youth World Champion, and being a wind addict like him he is happy Naxos is his home, and that it is windy every day. When we spoke to him, the young talent doesn’t complain about his living situation. Being on a windy island is pretty much every windsurfers dream! Lately, he has been improving his sailing with big steps, and already at age of 15 last year, he won a heat against former World Champion Kiri Thode in the PWA World Cup in Sylt last season. He is our biggest young freestyle hope on the team and we see a bright future for this ripper. If you see him at the beach, you need to be quick to get a word with him, as he will spend all day long on his board on the water. He tells us his record on the water is 10 hours non stop sailing! Can you beat that?
LENNART`S FAVOURITE 2020 SET-UP
His favorite set-up is the Starboard iGnite 87L. The 16-year-old is 68 kilos now, but when he grows even more he plans to also use the iGnite 93L for the next season when the wind is lighter.
